"I hope that y'all have an amazing 4th of July weekend and that we all remember the many sacrifices that have been made in our behalf. Last night as I worked with Carrie Underwood, Lou Diamond Phillips, The 5 Browns, The Lowe Family, Jenny Oaks Baker, Eric Dodge, and other talented individuals at Stadium of Fire, I reflected on the words of our 40th president, Ronald Reagan who said, 'Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.' Let us remember that freedom isn't free. Happy Birthday America!!! May God continue to bless our beautiful land and may He watch over all our men and women in uniform as they defend the cause of freedom. God bless them and their families. Happy 4th of July everybody!!!"
